Jake Marrow brings a strong combination of fire service leadership, military experience, and Honor Guard command responsibility to the National Honor Guard Society. He serves as a firefighter with the Beverly Hills Fire Department and as Commander of the department’s Honor Guard, where he helps lead ceremonial operations, training, and representation for his agency and community.

In his role as Honor Guard Commander, Jake is responsible for helping maintain the discipline, professionalism, and readiness required of a ceremonial unit. His service reflects a commitment to honoring public safety personnel, preserving tradition, and ensuring that ceremonies are conducted with dignity, precision, and respect.

Jake also serves as a Chief Warrant Officer in the United States Army. His military background brings additional depth to his leadership approach, including experience with standards, accountability, operational discipline, and the development of high-performing teams. As both a firefighter and Army warrant officer, he understands the importance of structure, training, composure, and professionalism in environments where performance matters.

Through his work in the fire service and military, Jake brings the Society a practical perspective on ceremonial readiness, leadership development, interagency professionalism, and the role Honor Guards play in representing public service institutions. His experience bridges civilian public safety and military service, strengthening the Society’s ability to serve a broad and diverse Honor Guard community.

As a member of the National Honor Guard Society Board of Directors, Jake supports the Society’s mission to preserve tradition, advance best practices, strengthen professional development, and promote consistent excellence across Honor Guard units nationwide. His service reflects the Society’s belief that every ceremony should be carried out with dignity, discipline, and respect for those being honored.
